Toshiba launches three 10.1-inch Android tablets

Toshiba has finally announced the release of its three 10.1 inch Android Tablets to excite its lineup. The price range of the three Android Tablets is from US$299 to US$599.

The first Tablet is the Excite Pure.

The Excite Pure Android Tablet has a 10.1 inch screen with an industry standard 1280*800 resolution display. It is powered by Nvidia Tegra 3 Processor. The Tablet has a 1.2 megapixel front which is not enough now-a-days and it does not have a rear camera too. The Tablet runs on the Google Android 4.2.2 OS. The tablet has a storage capacity of 16 GB which can be expanded by using a MicroSD card as it has a MicroSD Card Slot. The Excite Pure Android Tablet also offers connectivity through Micro-HDMI and Micro-USB ports. The Toshiba Excite Pure costs US$299 and 16,876 rupees in Indian currency.

The second Tablet is the Excite Pro.

The Excite Pro Tablet is very much different from the Excite Pure Tablet. It has the same display 10.1 inch screen. The Excite Pro Tablet is powered by Nvidia’s new Tegra 4 Processor and it runs on the Google Android Jelly Bean OS. The resolution is also well advanced at 2560*1600 resolution display. The cameras are also far better advanced than the Excite Pure. It has a 1.3 megapixel front camera and it also has a 8 megapixel rear camera. It comes in a 32 GB storage variant and the memory can also be expanded by using a MicroSD card. It sports a dual Harman Kardon speakers. Just like the Excite Pure the Excite Pro also have MicroSD, Micro-USB and Micro-HDMI ports. This tablet is priced at US$499 and 28,164 rupees in Indian currency.

The third Android Tablet being introduced by Toshiba is the Excite Write.

The Excite Write allows the user to to write with a Wacom Digitizer that comes with the Tablet. The Excite Write is the same as compared to the Excite Pro Tablet. They both have the same specs and design. The Excite Write gives tough competition to the Samsung’s Galaxy Note 10.1. Currently the Excite Write comes only one application loaded in it which makes the full use of the stylus. The app is Toshiba’s own TruNote-Taking App. The cost of the Excite Write is US$599 and 99,808 rupees in Indian currency.
